Including elevated BP, Diabetes, Multiple gestations, incompetent cervix, office ultrasound (including anatomic surveys), NST, external cephalic version, co-management of care with UCSD perinatologists.

Office Gynecology
Including office colposcopy, dilation and curettage, LEEPS, IUD placement, pessary management, early infertility procedures (artificial insemination, sperm washing, sperm storage, follicle study with sono), family planning, EMB, skin biopsies, pap smears, well-woman exams.

Surgical procedures
Both inpatient and outpatient – transobturator slings, vaginal and abdominal hysterectomy, LAVH, laparoscopic removal of ectopic pregnancy (also medical management), laparoscopic removal of adnexa, cervical cerclage, Novasure endometrial thermal ablation, sterilizations.

Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine services provide consultation and treatment for high risk pregnancies, such as those complicated by diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, and fetal growth problems. Consultation is provided for the general obstetrician for a wide array of problems found during pregnancy. In addition, both Level III ultrasound ( state-of-the-art) for the diagnosis of birth defects and amniocentesis for the detection of chromosomal problems such as Down's Syndrome are available and recommended for many patients. We also provide antenatal fetal heart rate testing ( the non-stress test) for pregnancies in which the fetus is at risk.

Fertility
Our Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility services provide a full spectrum of state-of-the-art medical and surgical treatments in assisted reproductive technologies. Additionally, the service provides expert care in all aspects of reproductive endocrinology and gynecology including the evaluation and correction of sexual development disorders, pediatric gynecology, treatment of abnormalities of the female reproductive tract, as well as laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for removal of fibroids, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis.

Gynecologic Oncology
Offers comprehensive care for women with gynecologic malignancies, (cancer). Our team uses the latest modalities for treatment of malignancies, precancerous lesions and suspicious pelvic masses. To best serve the unique medical needs of each patient our team develops a personalized care plan through coordination and close cooperation with the primary physician as well as the radiation and medical oncologists.
